INTRODUCTIONThe Doctoral Program in Biotechnology and Bioengineering aims to provide doctoral students the education necessary to be leaders in the fast-growing industrial and academic biotechnology and bioengineering sectors. This includes a depth in knowledge and competence in their specific research area as well as a breadth in knowledge of biology, bioengineering, and biotechnology. The combination of coursework, research, thesis committee meetings and exams, and participation in international conferences will form the basis of this education. |
